Chopin and her obsession with nature

So i spent the last week debating about what to write about today. . . frustration... I was at an impass. . . then driving to school thrity min ago i saw the "funrise" and the sky was red. . . for those of you who have lived in spokane long enough you know as well as i do that we have about wenty four hours till it rains cats and dogs for three minutes and then abruptly stops. This reminded me of Kate Chopin's work. Every story of hers that i've had the pleasure of reading has had a direct correlation between her characters and the weather around them. I saw that red sky and thought ugh its an omen, i'm not gonna have anything to write about for this stupid blog assignment.. . then it hit me "wow i just found something to write about :)" most people feel a direct connection with the way they think and feel and the weather. i wasn't completly convinced of this myself until this morning and now i've become a follower
