Right and wrong. . . When do we develope a sense of right or wrong? are we born with it? do we develope it from experience over time? The debate has gone on for centuries and will continue to do so until we have a method of proving one over the other. . . empiricism is a theory of knowledge which asserts that knowledge arises from experience. As an empiricist i personsally believe that at birth we are neither good, nor evil in nature but we are a blank slate that has yet to be scribbled upon by the firm hand of life experiences. . . If a child has not been told that altering the truth for his own gain is ultimately an evil deed, then does he know that what he has done is wrong??? of course not. . . to argue that a mind could conceive right and wrong without first being given a premise is complete lunacy. . .. . .
